The feast of Annunciation

Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.”
Every year I celebrate the feast of Annunciation, "the YES of Mary", but the experience of celebrating the feast in the Mother House in Rome was quite different. It was really a blessing for me to be here. The presence and active participation of many sisters, their love and dedication to make this day a unique one, made my day very special. The animation of the liturgy of the hours made me to feel the heavenly atmosphere where Choirs of angels praising the Lord. The exhibition of the gifts for Jesus and for the Jesus, prepared with lots of love by our own sisters made me to acclaim, we are blessed, because of the Mother Mary, the mother Foundress, the Mother church and because of each of us. We are a blessing to one another. 

I also enjoyed the game involving all the Sisters and formees all around the world. 

Everything culminated in the solemn Eucharistic celebration and extended the communion and fellowship in the fraternal meal shared in the community refectory. I am grateful to God for this great opportunity and most of all, for making me a part of this beautiful Family of the Daughters of the Church.
