I am Manisha Baliar sing. I come from a middle-class family although from a middle-class family but based on Christian values. My family is very much devoted to the Mother Mary. Due to circumstances, I had to grow up in a hostel run by the Sisters where my devotion towards Mother Mary and my Christian values were sustained. During my stay in the hostel, I was inspired by the lifestyle of the Sisters and their dedication to live for the Lord. I just happened to attend a vocation camp at my hometown; I was given the passage for discussion John chapter 15 -16, I was struck by these verses “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit”. It helped me to respond to God’s call when the sisters came for the vocation promotion. Ever since I joined, amidst ups and downs of everyday life I desire to belong to the Lord totally. Together with the little service in the Community where I stayed the regular classes about our religious family especially about our charism has helped me to know more about our religious family and to serve the people of God. Therefore, I wish to continue my life in this religious family seeking the intercession of our blessed Mother.
