On July 11th, the Indian Delegation of the Daughters of the Church joyfully celebrated the 50th Dies Natalis of their beloved Mother Foundress at Arunodaya, the seat of the delegation. It was a truly grace-filled, beautiful day that flowed with serene smoothness, leaving everyone present with a profound sense of gratitude. The chapel was filled with a vibrant, festive gathering of sisters from various communities, religious from neighbouring congregations, daily parishioners, ex-formees, and many friends and benefactors whose presence created an incredibly joyful atmosphere.

The heart of the celebration was the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Most Rev. Susainathan, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Bangalore, who was joined by dedicated chaplains and several priest friends. In his touching homily, the bishop beautifully presented the life story of the Mother Foundress, sharing, "I am really taken up by the love that Mother Foundress showed towards the Eucharist, the Church, Our Lady, and the poor." The inspiring liturgy was universally appreciated, and its message was complemented by an exceptionally creative, brilliant, and highly informative short video prepared by Sr. Preethi, which brought immense joy and inspiration to the community.

The spiritual enrichment continued with a heart-warming webinar conducted by Sr. Tresa, which beautifully helped participants refocus their hearts on living out the rich spirituality of their Mother Foundress. The day was further brightened by a delightful surprise when Sr. Flomy and Sr. Maria Giampiccolo joined the session online to convey their warm wishes. Ultimately, this 50th Dies Natalis was a beautiful testament to the enduring legacy of the Mother Foundress, leaving every participant feeling deeply touched, renewed, and enriched by the graces of the day.
