25th death anniversary of Sr. Silvana Termignone (1993-2018)
The Sisters from India would like to remember and share their experience of living with Sr. Silvana who brought the Charism of Daughters of the Church to India.
Sr. Silvana, from my little knowledge of her, was a woman of prayer, great faith, human values and perfection. She was also very straight forward and worked with clarity and perfection. She had such a tremendous openness to get used to Indian culture and promoted ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue. She developed in our young minds, the same openness and made us to participate and value inter-religious dialogue and ecumenical meetings. Her relationship with people outside irrespective of their background or faith was heart touching and witnessing. She was a lover of the poor. She was very caring, loving and supportive mother. Her commitment and determination in the moments of difficulties and her approach to the suffering was an inspiration for me.
