25th death anniversary of Sr. Silvana Termignone (1993-2018)
The Sisters from India would like to remember and share their experience of living with Sr. Silvana who brought the Charism of Daughters of the Church to India.
The few years of my life with Sr. Silvana, I really experienced in her a true Amma, a loving Sister, an encouraging teacher, a strong leader and guide and above all a dedicated disciple of Christ. I remember her with gratitude and fond memories of her fill my mind. I always thank the Lord for gifting me with such a great soul, who loved the Church, lived for the Church and formed us in the same line. Her love for the Indian culture is praiseworthy and she always signed in her communication to her daughters as VanaPriya (Lover of nature) a Sanskrit translation of her name and her life invited us to see nature as a magnificent book in which God speaks to us and grants us a glimpse of his infinite beauty and goodness.“Praise be to you, my Lord”.
