Being grateful with a vision for the future
Rejoice that your names are written in heaven (Lk 10:20)
Here we are, at the end of our Chapter journey with the awareness that the Lord also calls us to live his invitation to the disciples to go ... with three attitudes for those who want to announce the joy of the Gospel.
Fr. Ugo reminded us of this, drawing inspiration from the three foundations that Pope Francis gave to the Italian Church at the Florence Conference of 2015 and which continue to have their validity in all ecclesial contexts: humility, of those who place themselves at the service of recognizing in every man and woman the humanity of Christ; disinterest, because the gift of the Gospel must be integral, the disciple does not bring himself but Christ and he crucified; joy, because God created us to be happy.
Our work took place in the assembly hall for the last approvals in the morning while we dedicated the afternoon for the evaluation.
At the conclusion of the solemn celebration of Vespers, during the singing of the Magnificat, we processionally went from the chapel to the classroom to sign the chapter acts.
The Superior General, thanking each sister, encouraged us to support the communities in implementing the project.
After having declared the conclusion of the XII General Chapter, we invoked the Virgin Mary to assist us in the journey with her maternal intercession.
We give thanks to God for what we have experienced in this time in fraternity and commitment!
