United in diversity!
"All of you should be like minded, sympathetic, loving toward one another, kindly disposed and humble." (1 Pet 3: 8)
The Scripture reading of today’s evening prayer reflects what we have lived today. It was a day of listening to the beauty of diversity and uniqueness given by the Charism: passion for the Church, passion for the poor.
At the beginning of the meeting we were introduced to the communities of: Rome Sancta Maria - General House, Rome Santa Maria del Silenzio, Fatima, Lourdes, Madrid, Tarsus and San Mateo Rizal (Philippines) and then the communities of the Delegations of Colombia / Ecuador, Bolivia and Brazil.
The richness of expressions of love for the Church and commitment to its service have truly enlarged our hearts. We have seen how the Lord works wonders in diversity and also in our smallness and how our Charism is embodied in the various contexts, even though so different: service to the poor, liturgy, catechesis, human promotion.
Thanksgiving really flows spontaneously to God and the sisters who make their commitment to tell everyone that God exists and He is love.
Tomorrow we will approach the realities of Italy, India and the service of our Missionary Office.
