Praying Mather

Our small community is one among the most recent one that began our mission on February 20, 2015, invited by the Bishop Monsignor Giancarlo Petrini in the Diocese of Camaçari, in the state of Bahia, to be a prayerful presence and sign of the beauty of total self-giving to God in the Church.

We have been entrusted with the task of coordinating and animating the Adoration in the Cathedral of St. Thomas in Canterbury and also collaborating in the coordination and formation of some activities such as: Basic Christian community; Liturgical animation; Catechetical animation; Training of community leaders, groups, movements; Youth ministry, accompaniment and discernment; Evangelization in families.

We feel very much in tune with the people and together we try to build the Kingdom in this small portion of the Church, assured of the assistance of Mary, Mater Orans, to whom our community is dedicated.
