St.Mary’s English Medium School Baradi, Assam celebrated the Teacher’s day on 5th September, the birth day of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second president of India. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp invoking the presence of the Lord in to our midst by the chief guest Fr.Linesh Chako the Director of social service, Bongaigaon, Fr. Johny the Principal of the School, Sr.Mini, the Headmistress and the representative of the teachers Mr. Jitu . The teachers were honored by giving them the ganbusa ( the typical of Assam culture) and the gifts by the students of class 10. The day was coloured by the different cultural programs by the students. Fr.Linesh the Chief Guest spoke about the importance of the role of the Teachers in molding the children. Fr.Johny ,the Principal appreciated the teachers for their selfless service.
