Children's day Celebration

Today on the 14th of November, the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the St.Mary’s family celebrated the Children’s day. God Almighty is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. We began our celebration with the lighting of the lamp by Fr. Raimon the Principal, Sr. Mini the Headmistress, Himanshu the head boy of the school and Miss. Ditimoni the teacher representative, inviting the presence of the Lord into our midst. Sr. Assunta mastered the ceremony with her cheerful presence and eloquent words. The colorful programs by the teachers began with the prayer song by Miss Sangita. Miss Kokila welcomed the gathering followed by the typical cultural items of the state of Assam by the teachers. Sir Jitu and Sr. Nirmala sang solo songs. Teachers together wished the children through a wishing song which made the children so happy and joyful. Fr. Raimon, the principal, Sr. Mini, the headmistress and Miss Kokana the teacher representative gave the messages of the day inspiring the children to put a strong foundation in their life thus to secure their future and the future of the nation.
