I am pesaramalli Latha GM. I hail from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (India). I was born to pious parents what I am today, I owe mostly to them because it is they who brought me up in the Christian faith and provided me the good soil where the seed of vocation fell. I am as a first child it was my mother who used to carry me to the church for the daily Holy Eucharist, Rosary and other prayers. She taught me the love for the Holy Eucharist and mama Mary and the saints specially St. Teresa of child Jesus.
I was inspired to become religious when I was studying 8th std by looking at the presence of the sisters (Salesians) in my parish & they were very nice to us every week they gather us for the catechism, action songs, and games. But it was my secret desire to be religious. It was only after completing my 10std & questioned by my parents about my future plan I have revealed to them my desire to be a religious & then I spoke to my uncle about my vocation story then he directed me to this religious family of the Daughters of the Church. In this religious family always I loved their love for the Holy Eucharist from where we draw the strength for the whole day of our mission, the love for the poor, the children and our family spirit this is what exactly our founder’s also desired. The desire of our Mother is exactly seen in our sisters.
Therefore I am glad to be a daughter of the church for my entire life, where I have always cherished the Spiritual inputs by sharing all our ups & downs as one family. After having been experienced and understood the real life of the Daughters of the Church I am proud to commit myself entirely for the one who has kept my Lamp burning with His love still now.
