The Spiritual exercise

The spiritual exercise is very important for each of us.  A personal spiritual retreat allows us to push, pause on the rush of our schedules and the noise we get used to, so we can focus on God, get into His Word and listen to what He is telling us. Desperately we need to quiet ourselves and everything around us, so we can hear God. A personal spiritual retreat is a time between oneself and God to place one’s mind, heart, soul and life fully before Him and listen for His direction, conviction, wisdom and insight.

We had also one of such time for seeking and deepening our spiritual practice and to connect with our inner selves. This retreat offered us an opportunity to step back from our daily routines and worldly distractions in order to come into closer communion with our Master and Lord Jesus Christ.

We were guided by the retreat preacher Fr. Abraham Karkaparambil, Rector of the Minor Seminary of Rayagada- Odhisha to contemplate specially over the 3 aspects of life those are gratitude, empathy and mindfulness which has a great role in our daily life. We had this precious time set apart to spent time with the Lord very personally to experience inner strength and peace. We were also guided towards quite reflection, meditation that which nourished our sense of mindfulness and gratitude.
