Fancy-dress competition

Fancy-dress competition

Comunità Aurora Valde Rutilans (Arunodaya) - Bangalore - India

On 7th December St Theresa’s school - Bangalore had organized a fancy-dress competition for the students in which our little children of Arunodaya foster home participated and won the prize.

It was the most awaited event, as it is always a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as different characters and stuttering away in their speech.

This activity helped the students to overcome their stage fear, bring out their inner talents, gave them a platform to build their self-confidence and to explore their inner strength. The students came forward displaying their vibrant costumes.  Our children dressed up as Starfish, guava, strawberry, plantain, and penguin and spoke a few words on them.

However, the competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students. The efforts and hard work of the students were highly commendable. The competition brought an amiable ambience and the judges retorted with their applause.  It was indeed a mesmerizing event which would be etched in our memory for a very long time.
